Falling in love came easy to us. We were friends with the same group of people, we both had boys almost the same age, and we both liked to dream big! We completed each other in ways that no one else ever could.
Blending our family was another story. It wasn't the easiest thing for us to do, especially with ex issues! It took a lot of work but we made it happen and in the process our kids became great friends!
In 2003 we moved our family to Austin for a change of pace, and for Casey to pursue a new career opportunity, one we would never regret! :)
On the 16 of March, 2004 we welcomed our first son, Pacey, into the world a month early. After a week in the NICU we brought him home to the most excited big brothers ever! For the next year he would bring us more joy and love than I ever imagined.
Shortly after Pacey was born we moved to Pflugerville, not the best place to live at the time, and a year after that we moved to Round Rock.
September 15, 2005 with all the kids in tow and while 9 months pregnant Casey and I vowed to love, comfort, and honor each other as long as we both shall live.
13 days later on the 28th, Chase came into this world with Pacey by our sides. He was the perfect addition to our expanding family and once again, we were overcome with love and happiness.
For the next few years life was anything but calm or easy. We were dealt our fair share of trials and tribulations but we managed to overcome them together.
In June of 2008 we decided to plant our roots in Round Rock and bought our first home together. The weekend we moved in we found out that we were expecting another baby!! Our last baby.
Feb 5, 2009 Joelie was born into a household full of boys that would never be the same again. She is the apple of their eye(s) and each and every one of them, her protectors. She is our dream come true and completes our family.
Casey's company was eventually bought out and he now works for the infamous Google. He really likes his job and all the perks that come along with it. He has to travel a couple of times per year but is lucky enough to go places like Zurich, Switzerland.
Casey has a lot of hobbies :) From RC Cars, Dirt Bikes, Four Wheelers, Scooters, and Sports to Computers and Gadgets. He is also a wonderful father and my best friend.
I'm a research Associate in the field of Child Development and Human Relations, better known as a Housewife. :) My hobbies include Photography, Baking, Cooking, Cleaning, and Crafting. I dream about being a professional photographer one day AND opening my own popcorn store.
